KĘTRZYN CASTLE
This castle was built in the second half of the 14th century by the Teutonic Order, on a classic square plan surrounding a large courtyard in the form of a monastery. It was rebuilt several times during the conflicts and disasters of the long centuries of its existence. Restoration work undertaken after the Second World War has preserved its brick exterior. It houses a museum dedicated to the history of the town and region. On display are paintings, sculptures and other objects dating from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
