Białowieża National Park, located in the far east of Poland on the border with Belarus, is one of Europe's oldest national parks and nature reserves. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its exceptional natural wealth, including its intact primary forest, the last in Europe, and its free-living population of European bison.
