The museum is located in a vast park where the former residence of Tsar Alexander III was built, but destroyed in 1944. What remains are wooden pavilions and farm buildings used by the park's employees. In the museum, you'll find all the information you need to discover the area, the plant and animal species that can be seen in the park, and the history of the site's protection. It's well worth a visit before setting off on a forest excursion.
