Built in 968, the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul sits enthroned on its island on the Warta River. This beautiful Romanesque edifice has undergone considerable damage and stylistic changes over the course of its history. In the crypt, remains of foundations and old walls are visible. Inside, you'll find various late-Gothic ornaments and an astronomical clock. The chapels are richly decorated and contain the sarcophagi of the first Polish kings.

Un peu éloignée du centre ville elle vaut le détour ! Belle silhouette qui se dessine au loin, et très bel intérieur !
