LAKE MALTA (JEZIORO MALTANSKIE)

This 64-hectare artificial lake, created in 1952, is Poznań's favorite leisure spot. Here, you can swim, climb, ski and skate in winter. It is also used for regattas and walks. Every year, the Malta International Theatre Festival is held on its shores. On summer evenings (July and August), open-air film screenings take place on Fridays and Saturdays. The new zoo and the Pyrland adventure park are nearby.
