STARY BROWAR

This arts and commerce centre opened in 2003 with an innovative concept and unique architecture. A space combining art galleries, shopping centre and offices with more than 210 shops and restaurants, the «old brewery» rehabilitated in the passage of the Poznań Industrial Heritage Monument. Especially well designed, this centre of about 130 000 m ² is inspired by the historic monument, while using all contemporary conceptions of space and light. Awarded by National Geographic Traveler in 2012 as one of Poland's «new wonders», it is one of the most successful examples of the architecture of the new Poland, capitalist, modernist and without any complexity!
