Well-located and long-established, La Cucina is the Italian reference in downtown Gdańsk. Locals flock here for a mid-range, very Instagrammable experience. Despite its good reputation, the restaurant is no match for serious competition should it come to town: dishes are very average, not very tasty and over-seasoned, service is mediocre and unhelpful, prices are too high for a poorly mastered menu. It's hard to justify a stop here, unless everything around is full.
