If you absolutely must see one of the latest international releases, the Forum cinema is the best downtown destination. Its multiplex is state-of-the-art! Recently built, it offers most of its screenings in the original version (with Polish subtitles, but you soon get used to them). The setting is excellent and the theaters quite quiet, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the film. The relative lack of interest in cinema among Poles can be explained by the surprisingly high prices (which are close to those in France).
