Built in the 14th century and located opposite the Grand Moulin, this Gothic church was severely damaged by fire in 2006 and is currently still undergoing renovation. Indeed, most of the work has been completed, but much remains to be done to restore this temple to its former glory. The church collects regular donations, which are reinvested in the ongoing work. The church is famous for housing the tombstone of astronomer Jan Heweliusz (1611-1687), discovered in 1985.
