The National Museum is housed in a former Franciscan convent in the Old Town (Stare Przedmieście). While the first floor features a fine collection of Gothic statues and religious silverware, the first floor is devoted to painting. Here you can admire Hans Memling's famous Last Judgment. There are also local paintings from the 16th-18th centuries, Flemish and Dutch paintings, and Polish paintings from the 19th-20th centuries. Definitely worth a visit if you have the time and love art.

Beautiful precious furniture and sublime coffered ceilings richly historiated. A relaxing museum that leaves good memories after one hour visit.
