The Sanok Ethnographic Park and Skansen Museum is one of the largest open-air museums in Poland. The museum is built on the remains of an ancient fort that is said to have existed from the 8th to the 14th century. In addition to the reconstruction of the fort and the presentation of medieval life, the site is exceptional and presents nearly one hundred constructions of the different ethnic groups that lived in the region until 1947.
