e temple a été construit par l'un des principaux constructeurs de l'ordre, le grand maître Dietrich von Altenburg.
Son intérieur est recouvert d'une voûte stellaire, appuyée uniquement sur des colonnes murales.
L'entrée de l'église mène à travers de grands cloîtres.
Pendant la dernière guerre, l'église a été complètement détruite.
En 2016, des travaux de conservation et de rénovation d'une valeur de 19 millions de złoty polonaise ont été achevés.
