This local bus company, established in 1993, now has seven routes departing from Krakow. At the moment, until the train line is renewed (last I heard, the entire track is to be replaced), Zwagoropol offers the best public transport option to Zakopane. To use it, you can book your tickets on its website or directly with the drivers, who are used to driving tourists and Erasmus students. You should arrive at least 10 minutes early, as the buses leave on time.
