This store sells the famous gingerbreads originating from Toruń and packs them in beautiful cardboard boxes with the effigy of the main monuments of Krakow. A great classic of Polish gifts not to be missed! While the tradition dates back to the Middle Ages, Toruń's workshop has been operating practically uninterrupted for two and a half centuries (the interruption corresponding to the few years of World War II). Polish gingerbread is recognizable by its specific texture and its distinctly darker color.
