This place of relaxation, rest and summer walks was designed in the socialist era for the inhabitants of Nowa Huta. From the very beginning, it has encouraged outdoor games for children, sports and fishing. It is possible to rent kayaks, boats and pedal boats to go along the small island in the center of the park, called Monkey Grove, where endangered species live. Bicycle paths also surround the shoreline. In all, the complex has nearly 50 acres of family-friendly facilities.
