MANGGHA MUSEUM
A Japanese museum in Poland? One of the best in Europe. See one of the originals of the Great Wave of Kanagawa.
This modern building was created to serve as an exhibition site for rich collections of art from the Far East. The result is successful: it is certainly one of the best Japanese museums in Europe! The heart of its exhibition is the superb collection of Feliks Manggha Jasieński, donated in 1920 and at the origin of the project. Throughout the exhibits, one discovers woodcuts, artistic crafts (ceramics, clothes, weapons) and successive presentations of different themes related to the art, culture and customs of Japan.
