Built according to medieval chronicles in 1474, this house, whose facade is adorned with a large cross, has been reorganized several times. In the 1930 s, a avant-garde theatre settled there and since then the destiny of the house is linked to theatrical life. Since 1958, it has been home to the Cracow Theatre Museum «Stanisław Wyspiański», devoted to the matchless theatre tradition, costumes and props.
