This museum holds a high-quality collection of sacred art, with paintings and objects that once belonged to the region's churches. But what really attracts the crowds is the pious reconstruction of the rooms in which Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II) lived between 1952 and 1963, with his office, personal objects and even a pair of skis: the man, before becoming pontiff, was a great fan of the sport. It's a place of pilgrimage for many believers.
