TURYSTA
Oświęcim, also known as Auschwitz, is a town in Poland that is primarily known for housing the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial, a former Nazi concentration and extermination camp. After the visit, visitors can return to the main building via separate underground passages. However, this change may cause traffic problems in the Zasole district, particularly around Pileckiego Street. Residents fear an increase in traffic and difficulties in finding parking spaces. To solve this problem, the city has proposed that visitors use the Park and Ride parking lot located on Powstańców Śląskich Street. Tourists can leave their cars there and travel to the museum using the new M bus line, which runs every 30 minutes from 9am to 4pm, by purchasing an MZK ticket. This solution will reduce the number of cars in the area, benefiting visitors and residents alike.
