The three-storey museum occupies the editorial and printing premises of Gazeta Olsztynska, the main newspaper of the Polish community in East Prussia, which was published between 1886 and 1939. The exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Polish national movement in Warmia and Masuria. An interesting series of photographs shows Olsztyn destroyed after the war and then rebuilt. The basement features an ethnographic exhibition on peasant life.
