The diocesan museum is nestled behind the cathedral, in an old house that has belonged to the church since it was built in 1524. Established in 1888, it boasts a rich and beautiful collection of religious art objects - most of which date back to the Middle Ages - and paintings on glass. The most precious object in the collection, and the pride of the museum, is the original altar from the church of St. Leonard in Lipnica Murowana, preserved here to protect it from the ravages of time. The visit is relatively quick.
