RYNEK DE TARNÓW
Tarnów boasts a beautiful Renaissance-style Market Square, lined with old Renaissance-style arcaded houses. Stop at no. 20. Dating from 1565, this house was the home of wealthy Scottish merchants. Later the headquarters of the Masonic Lodge, it is now attached to the Regional Museum. In the middle of the square stands a Gothic-Renaissance town hall (Ratusz), which houses a branch of the Regional Museum. From the top of its tower, every day at noon resounds the hejnał. To the east of the Rynek opens the old Jewish quarter.
