CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL

This Gothic building, which has been modified several times, looks like a Baroque church, but you'll recognize the original Gothic architecture. The cathedral holds the ^15th-century miraculous figure of Our Lady of Jacków. Next to the sacristy, there's a Blessed Sacrament chapel with frescoes by Stanisław Stroiński from the early ^18th century. On the basilica's walls and pillars are commemorative plaques.
