Łańcut Castle is one of Poland's most beautiful aristocratic residences. Built in the 17th century by Stanisław Lubomirski, it was refurbished in rococo style by Princess Izabella Lubomirska. In the 19th century, Roman Potocki added a romantic touch with stables (now housing a carriage museum) and an orangery. He also modernized the palace with running water and electricity. After the Second World War, it became a museum dedicated to the interiors of Polish palaces, featuring objects and works of art.
