The Bernardins monastery complex is a famous place of pilgrimage, housing a priceless collection of sacred art. Here, for example, you'll find an early 16th-century statue of the Virgin Mary, credited with numerous miracles. The interior of the church is richly decorated with frescoes from the second half of the 19th century. Its superb altar, covered in gold leaf, dates from the late Renaissance. Don't miss the Holy Cross altar in the corridor linking the church to the monastery.
