REGIONAL MUSEUM
This regional museum is housed in the former Piarist monastery. It exhibits Polish paintings from the 18th to the 20th century, as well as glass and earthenware collections, and a comprehensive presentation of the region's history. You're sure to appreciate the 17th-century vaults, decorated with original frescoes. Next door, the Piarist church was built in the mid-17th century. The Renaissance-style vault features stucco by Jan Falconi. The Baroque appearance of the façade is due to the redesign undertaken in 1706 by Tylman van Gameren.
