SYNAGOGUE WITH WHITE STORK
Synagogue

This neoclassical synagogue, built in the early 19th century, was looted but survived the Nazis. A small Jewish community organizes concerts of klezmer and Yiddish music. A paper kippah must be worn on the head during concerts. For more information, visit the synagogue's Facebook page. The street and its neighbors, once the city's Jewish quarter, contain some very fine Art Nouveau and neoclassical buildings.
