Katowice is an important railway junction, very well connected with the rest of the country. Trains to Krakow once or twice an hour. Completely renovated and in operation since April 2013, ultra-modern, glass and steel, equipped with fifty bars, cafes, restaurants and stores. It also has an underground parking lot and a shopping center (Galeria Katowicka). The regional bus station is located in the basement. Buses to Silesia and to the airport leave from here.
