Private swimming pools, especially those in hotels, are often open to the public. Of course, you have to pay an entrance fee that goes from 60,000 FG to 150,000 FG, but it is the only way to swim in Conakry (there is no municipal pool and the sea is very polluted at the beaches). Among others, let's mention the swimming pool of the Noom Hotel (overflowing pool), the one of the Riviera Royal (ideal to do laps), the one of the Sporting (more friendly and family oriented with the possibility to practice other sports on the spot) or the one of the Atlantic Ocean View.
