TAMARA'S LIGHTHOUSE
Located at the southern end of the island, the Tamara lighthouse is a place to visit. Built by the French at the beginning of the 20th century, it offers a spectacular view of the Loos archipelago and of Conakry in the distance. The lighthouse dominates a small forest of spectacular mango trees. You will find on the spot the keeper of the lighthouse who will propose you to decipher the guestbook, containing some old signatures, the first of which date from 1915. The access to the site is free but if you want to go up in the lighthouse, you have to pay an entrance fee.
