NOEL GNIMASSOU GUIDE TOURISTIQUE

Arrived in Fria at the age of one year from his native Benin, Noel has spent all his life in the "city of alumina". As much to say that he knows the city and its region well. For him, who became a guide somewhat by chance, the adventure began with visits he organized for visiting friends. It was on the repeated advice of the latter that he tried the adventure in 2016, accompanying his first clients to the banks of the Konkouré River and the caves of Ciréyah. That same year, he contributed to the updating of the Petit Futé Guinée, bringing his knowledge to enrich and update the data of Fria, which was then still little known and even less frequented by tourists. In addition to knowing most of the local sites and thanks to his proximity to the villagers, he has identified several sites, including the Foto and Bolonde waterfalls, and he does not intend to stop there. Mastering both local languages and English, the man who defines himself as a "Guinanese" (in reference to his Beninese roots) does not limit himself to his region. He has several times taken tourists to visit other regions of Guinea and several countries in the sub-region (Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso).
