KONKOURÉ BEACHES

The river, which has its source in the Fouta, passes less than 5 km from the city center. It can be reached on foot or by car by a very winding track. It is best to take a guide from Fria who will take you to the right places (contact Mr. Gnimassou). Once at the water's edge, several choices are available to walkers: lounging on the rocks, jumping into the water to reach one of the islands in the middle of the river, or getting into a pirogue for a shore-to-shore crossing. Whatever the choice, it is the assurance of spending a pleasant moment, out of time.
