SCULPTEUR SUR BOIS

Ousmane Camara, the master sculptor of the place, welcomes you in his small workshop in the Yéolé district. His work space, which is more of an exhibition space, is a real Ali Baba's cave, where some monumental works and statuettes of characters or animals of all sizes are "mixed".

As for his apprentices, they work outside with various woods, including ebony from Mali and redwood from Guinea. The large choice of pieces on display, including some original figurines, is well worth the detour.
