LES TISSERANDS
Like their counterparts in Pita, the weavers of Kindia work to the rhythm of the clacking of shuttles on their handicrafts. They tirelessly weave long strips of cotton fabric, with thread from Burkina Faso (no more cotton thread in Guinea for a long time) or from Mali. They make original models, which change the traditional black and white loincloth, by combining threads of different colors (green, blue, gold, copper ...). On sale on site. Contacts: Khalifa Diallo at 620 76 85 41 and Amadou Benté Diallo at 624 00 22 15.
