It is one of the busiest markets in Guinea due to its proximity to Senegal, as well as one of the most pleasant. It is located in the center of town and as often happens is surrounded by several busy shopping streets. Here you will find everything from fresh vegetables to shoes, hair pieces and all sorts of high-tech equipment. In the area dedicated to fabrics, you will find the famous lepis of Fouta. These natural or indigo colored cotton fabrics, made by the dyers of the Dongora district, are famous throughout the country.
