LA MOSQUEE DE FETEKOU
A dried earth mosque, unique in its kind in Guinea, which recalls the Sudanese style of the nearby Malian mosques. The mosque is built in banco (a mixture of clay, chopped straw and water), and its minaret is spiked with many wooden stakes that ensure the stability of the construction. In the village, you should ask for the guardian, who will be happy to open the doors of the sanctuary. Inside, the ceiling is made of earthen arches and the floor is strewn with mats, all giving off an atmosphere conducive to prayer
