VILLAGE SQUARE

It was here that Samory liked to talk with his people. On this square, three cheese trees dating from the Wassoulou empire dominated the village, witnesses of meetings between Samory and his people. Unfortunately, time has taken its toll and two of the three trees have partially or totally disappeared. The most vigorous one remains and still hides the mysterious missing person. This place offers travelers the perfect opportunity to make a short courtesy stop and to learn a little more about the history of the place from the village elders.
