DIECKE FOREST

The primary forest that covered the entire area is still sporadically present in Forest Guinea. The Diécké forest is one of these preserved islands located south of N'Zérékoré. To discover it, you must take the track that leads to Liberia and winds through this magnificent primary forest. A small glimpse of what was the virgin forest of Guinea. It is also an opportunity to note that rubber plantations, but especially oil palm plantations, are nibbling away at more and more space, seeming to condemn the remains of the original forest in the long term.
