The Kérouané track for a beautiful excursion on the border between the forest and Upper Guinea.
From Macenta, the trail crosses the Tourou massif and passes through Konsankoro, at the foot of Mount Going. About 100 km long, it is one of the most beautiful in Guinea; it climbs from Macenta through the forest until it reaches the grassy plateaus of Vassérédou, then from Boutoudou, it descends to Konsankoro, offering an admirable view of the sugar loafs of Tourou. Finally, it crosses the Milo on an old iron bridge, at Konsankoro itself, and joins the track of Kérouané. A beautiful excursion on the border between the forest and the high Guinea.
