THE MUSEUM OF KISSIDOUGOU
This small one-room museum, one of the few still open in the interior of the country, is cruelly lacking in resources. Created in 1960, it exhibits a few objects, more or less ancient, from everyday life and masks from the region. The Pondo, for example, is a Kissi funerary statuette representing a deceased person. Its curator will be happy to tell you the history of the objects presented in his museum and will gladly answer your questions. He will certainly offer to sign his guestbook. No photos inside the museum.
