It's hard not to succumb to the charm of this Muhammad Mahram madrasah, built in 1903 and admirably restored as a boutique hotel. As soon as you enter, the carpets of the Silk Road's glory days unfurl. Close to the old town, in a lively but quiet district, this is an address that we treasure. The rooms are comfortable, with alcoves, stucco decor and carpets with traditional ikat motifs. The dining room follows the same codes. Superb courtyard and view from the terrace.
