Located not far from the train station (turn right as you leave the station, then take the street running alongside the tracks, which will be on your right for around 600 meters), this Fish House is a popular fish restaurant with the locals. Green moleskin benches, large picture windows and a boat hanging from the ceiling on a sea of wood! Here you'll eat traditional Karakalpak fish dishes like karma, a noodle and fish dish that cooks for 3-4 hours. You can also taste the famous local Qarataw vodka, renowned as far away as Russia!
