Good location between the Registan and the Bibi Khanum mosque, a small B&B prized by those who don't look for comfort. Very pleasant welcome and excellent breakfast, but on the side of the rooms and bathrooms, it is Spartan, even if the whole remains clean and well maintained. Visit the available rooms and negotiate the price if necessary. This establishment remains one of the cheapest options in the old town and the location is really excellent. As far as attendance is concerned, it's more bikers and globetrotters than business men of course.
