HOTEL KAMILA
40 rooms around a large marble courtyard, with a basin, new boiseries and pimpant zinc, overlooking five satellite antennas. It's great, it's nine, it's Uzbek, but it lacks a bit of feeling. The rooms are decorated in a surprising way: Flashy taste combines with the kitsch touch of a suburban Chinese restaurant. It is also regrettable that the room for breakfasts and dinners is in the basement, and under the gaze of two giant eagles… everything is kept by a family that has made a fortune in the gas before doing its way in tourism. An advantage, the situation, just steps from the boulevard leading to the various Samarkand monuments.
