Avoid the Chinese "made in China" souvenir stores that abound in Samarkand and come instead to hunt in this delightful grouping of traditional houses where Elena Ladik, a designer and jack-of-all-trades working with textiles, including silk, wrought iron, ceramics among a delightful bric-a-brac of antiques, officiates. Each garment or accessory is reinterpreted in its own way to become a unique piece combining tradition, character and originality. Fashion lovers and professionals from all over the world come to find their happiness.
