SHAH PALACE

A stone's throw from Gocha Gala, the gateway to the old town overlooking the Place des Fontaines, this splendid establishment offers everything you would expect from the splendour of the Orient: luxury, charm, voluptuousness, warmth of materials... The charm operates very quickly and you would quickly feel like you were disembarked in a palace for 1,001 nights! The rooms are organized in floors around a large inner courtyard and are unfortunately one step below what one would expect once the courtyard is over. Very comfortable and spacious, they are a little too loaded with furniture and fabrics to be totally soothing. And the choice of a classic decoration and layout is a little disappointing in terms of the spirit of the establishment. There is still a very good level of services, except for a few bathrooms that do not deviate from the rule of the old town and a staff that takes care of itself.
