The mosques in the city are very different from each other.
The Friday mosque (Juma), located on the central square of the city, dates from the nineteenth century. It is recognizable to its metallic dome and its recent minaret, which rises above the city.
The Ardebil mosque, in the eponymous street, is an ancient converted church, along with the Haci Cafar mosque, in the same neighborhood, dated the nineteenth century. Both are very colorful and deserve a little visit.
Finally, the Saxina Xanum mosque, built for the wife of the Khan Fatali, is still active and always reserved for women.
