OCTAGONAL MINARET

An astonishing octagonal minaret rises above Agamalyogly street. Again, the bricks that form the structure of the minaret are intertwined with diamond-shaped motifs. Archaeological excavations have recently led to the release of the tomb of Mustafa Efendi, to whom the mosque must be built. The minaret was restored in 2001.
