It is a beautiful wooden house structured around an inner courtyard. Right in front of the entrance is the small white marble mausoleum dedicated to Hussein Cavid, an Azeri writer who died in Siberia in a Stalinist gulag. This mausoleum, built in 1993, is of particular importance to the inhabitants of Nakhchivan: indeed, it symbolises the resilience of the enclave to the Armenian blockade.
