On the heights of La Glacerie, the Cherbourg golf course overlooks the city’s harbour in a veritable green setting, so charming that it has been ranked one of the most beautiful courses in the region. The 9-hole course is fairly flat, with narrow fairways and small, well-designed greens. Conveniently accessible, it also offers lessons and equipment hire. A golf school is available for younger players, and please note that carts are prohibited to preserve the course.
